Salinas police say missing 10-year-old has been found

A 10-year-old at-risk girl who was reported missing in Salinas on Saturday morning was found safe on Saturday afternoon. 

Salinas Police reported Griceida Pascual missing at 9:13 a.m. and asked for the public's help locating her. She was last seen in the area of South Wood Street.

Police said in an update at 12:30 p.m. that Pascual was found safe.

"We are very grateful for the assistance of our federal partners, and the help from the community," the Salinas Police Department said on X, formerly known as Twitter. 

Police said no additional details would be released.
