A multi-car crash that blocked all westbound lanes of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge on Thursday has been cleared from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 10:20 a.m. midspan on the bridge, which is part of Interstate 580.

About two hours later, CHP officials said on social media that all lanes had reopened. More details about the crash were not immediately available.
